Privacy policy

The short version

RUNIT stores what it needs to write, schedule and publish your posts and to read the enquiries you send it. It does not sell data, does not show adverts, and does not use your content to train anything. You can delete everything yourself from Settings.

What we store

  • Your account — email address, a hashed password or a Google sign-in, and the settings you choose.
  • Connected social accounts — the account handle, its ID on the platform, and the access token the platform issues so RUNIT can post and read metrics for you. Tokens are encrypted before they are stored and deleted when you disconnect the account.
  • Your content — drafts, captions, hashtags, schedules, uploaded photos and video, templates, briefs, the brand kit you fill in, and the metrics the platforms report for posts RUNIT published.
  • Email you send to the Deal Inbox — the subject, sender, and body of messages in a Gmail account you connect or forward to a private RUNIT address, plus the summaries and reply drafts made from them.
  • Comments on your posts — fetched from the platforms so replies can be drafted, along with the category RUNIT files each one under.
  • Watchlist accounts — the public handles you choose to track, and the public follower counts and post samples the platforms make available for them.
  • Push notification tokens — an anonymous device token if you turn notifications on in the phone app, deleted when you sign out.
  • An audit log — who approved, published, connected or invited what, so a workspace with several people in it has a record.

How platform data is used

Data obtained from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Snapchat and Pinterest is used only to publish the posts you approve, to show you how those posts performed, to draft replies to comments on them, and to show you public figures for accounts you add to a watchlist. It is not shared with anyone else, not used for advertising, and not used to build profiles of other people.

RUNIT’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube data is used only to upload videos you approve and read their statistics; Gmail data is used only to read and summarise enquiries in the Deal Inbox and is never used to send mail.

Who processes it

RUNIT runs on a small number of services, each of which handles only what its job needs:

  • Supabase — the database, sign-in and file storage.
  • Vercel — hosting for the app itself.
  • Anthropic — the AI model that writes drafts. It receives the text you ask it to work from and your brand kit; drafts are not used to train models.
  • Resend — sends notification emails to you and receives mail forwarded to your private Deal Inbox address.
  • Stripe — takes payment where plans are sold. Card details go to Stripe directly and never touch RUNIT.
  • Apple and Google — deliver push notifications to the phone app, seeing only the device token and the notification text.

How long it is kept

Everything is kept while your account exists. Media files no longer attached to any post are removed automatically. Sign-in tokens for platforms are deleted the moment you disconnect an account. When you delete your account, everything above is removed at once and disappears from backups within 30 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Most of that you can do yourself in the app; for anything else, write to juniorgums@hotmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Deleting your data

Open Settings in RUNIT, scroll to Delete account, type your email address to confirm, and everything — workspaces, posts, media, connected-account tokens, inbox threads, notifications — is deleted straight away.

To remove a single platform instead, open Connectionsand disconnect it; its token is deleted immediately. If you removed RUNIT from a platform’s own settings first and want the data it already holds gone, email juniorgums@hotmail.com from the address on your account and it will be deleted within 7 days.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top moves and you will see a notice in the app. Questions go to juniorgums@hotmail.com.
